About the program
What you can expect
Aliento Counseling's Theft Intervention Program is designed to examine the thinking patterns and choices that can contribute to stealing or other theft-related behavior.
The existing program curriculum addresses topics such as Cops and Robbers Thinking, whether punishment changes behavior, mental rehearsing, circular thinking, victim impact, caring and choices, balance, and self-awareness.
The program is intended to move beyond the incident itself by helping participants look at decision-making, consequences, responsibility, and practical ways to make different choices going forward.
