What you can expect

DWI Intervention is designed to go beyond first-offender education by examining the lifestyle patterns, beliefs, choices, and risks connected with repeated alcohol- or drug-related driving behavior.

The program addresses responsibility, self-esteem, substance-related effects, family impact, treatment and support options, peer pressure, relapse prevention, problem solving, and practical action planning.

The objective is not simply to review another offense, but to help participants identify patterns that may contribute to repeated problems and develop a concrete plan for safer future decisions.

What the program covers

Lifestyle, values, and personal responsibility
Positive thinking and irrational beliefs
Effects of alcohol and drugs
Family impact and co-dependency
Treatment and support resources
Relapse prevention, problem solving, and action planning

Before you register

DWI Intervention is not the same as the 12-hour DWI Education Program. Check your court or referral paperwork carefully before registering.
